Our individual Therapy modalities

Internal family Systems

Have you ever caught yourself speaking about your parts? “ there is a part of me that… and there is another one that is in complete polarization, opposite of the other". If you have, then you are speaking about parts of yourself. We believe Parts work is helpful because it depathologizes our mental health, and helps us tackle and understand our internal system more effectively and compassionately. Rather than thinking “I’m an anxious person”, IFS help us understand there is an “ anxious part” that has a role in our system.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a powerful and transformative therapy that can help you connect with your inner self and heal the wounds that are holding you back. Developed by Richard Schwartz, PhD, IFS is based on the idea that we all have different parts within us that contribute to our personality and behavior. These parts can be protective, creative, or wounded, and can affect our thoughts, feelings, and actions in different ways.

Our IFS therapists will help you explore and identify these different parts of yourself, and work with you to develop a compassionate and curious relationship with each one. Through this process, you will learn to recognize and address the emotions and beliefs that are driving your behavior, and create a more integrated and balanced sense of self.

Cognitive behavioral Therapy

.

CBT is a collaborative, evidence based approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative patterns of thinking and behavior. With the help of our therapists, you'll learn how to recognize and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that may be contributing to your problems. By doing so, you'll be able to shift your mindset and develop more effective coping skills that will improve your overall quality of life.

Brainspotting

If you have been feeling stuck or struggling to make progress in your therapy journey, brainspotting may be the perfect technique to help you break through those barriers. brainspotting is a trauma processing model & focuses on identifying and releasing emotional and physical trauma by utilizing eye positions to locate and target areas of distress in the brain (capsules of trauma stuck in time). Our experienced therapists will work with you to find the right eye positions to help you process trauma & memories. Brainspotting is a powerful tool that has helped many of our clients find relief and move forward in their healing journey.
